Summer 2026 Reading Group

June 1 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A Summer with Our Great Tradition: Voices That Shaped Our Faith

What do a restless bishop, a reforming pastor, a joyful essayist, and a poet have in common?

Just your summer reading list if you join us.

This isn’t just any reading group. It’s a journey into our great tradition, exploring the voices that have shaped the faith we share today, led by a seasoned professor and scholar.

Together, we’ll read and discuss selections from figures like Augustine of Hippo, John Calvin, and G. K. Chesterton—along with poetry and other writings that have formed Christians across generations.

We’re not diving into dense theology just for the sake of it. This is about discovering that these voices are not distant or disconnected. They are part of our story, helping us better understand what we believe and why it matters.

Whether you’re new to these writers or revisiting them with fresh eyes, you’re invited.

Bring your curiosity, your questions, and a willingness to step into the rich heritage of our faith.

“We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants.” – Bernard of Chartres
